Nicola Sturgeon writes to PM requesting second Scottish independence referendum

Scotland's First Minister Nicola Sturgeon will tell Theresa May in a letter that they need to make a start on arrangements for an independence referendum.Writing to the Prime Minister following the Scottish Parliament vote backing a referendum, Ms Sturgeon is to make her formal request to open talks on a Section 30 order that would facilitate it.Sky News understands that Ms Sturgeon will urge the Prime Minister to make a start on transferring the power to have a referendum.
