New Search Planned For Ben Nevis Couple

Rescue teams are hoping weather conditions will improve so they can continue searching for two climbers missing in the Scottish Highlands for a week. Rachel Slater, 24, and Tim Newton, 27, were camping near what is known as the CIC (Charles Inglis Clark) hut on the 1,344m-high Ben Nevis last weekend. Concerns were raised for the couple, who are from the Bradford area , on Monday afternoon and the search began that evening.
