Nearly 700 Suspected Paedophiles Arrested

Nearly 700 suspected paedophiles have been arrested over the last nine months, the National Crime Agency has said. Around one in seven of those detained were held "positions of trust" - including people working in teaching, medical roles, law enforcement, criminal justice and government. The NCA said it had worked with 40 police forces to detain a total of 682 people on suspicion of accessing indecent images of children.
