Murder Inquiry After Three-Month-Old Boy Dies

A murder investigation has been launched after the death of a three-month-old boy who was found seriously ill at a flat. The baby, from the Boscombe area of Bournemouth, was taken by ambulance to the Royal Bournemouth Hospital on Friday afternoon before being transferred to Southampton General Hospital for specialist treatment. Detective Inspector Richard Dixey, of Dorset Police, said: "I can confirm that the tragic death of this young boy is being treated as suspicious.
