Mum, 60, Wins Battle For Daughter's Frozen Eggs
A woman has won her battle to use her late daughter's frozen eggs to give birth to her own grandchild. The 60-year-old, whose daughter died of cancer in 2011, had asked the Court of Appeal to allow her to carry out the dying wishes of her "much-loved and only child". But the justices ruled in their favour and sent the case back to the Human Fertilisation and Embryology Authority (HFEA) for further consideration.
