MP Leadsom emerges as top pro-Brexit candidate for PM

British lawmaker Andrea Leadsom emerged on Saturday as the top pro-Brexit candidate to succeed Prime Minister David Cameron, earning the support of a former Conservative Party leader and several members of parliament. Leadsom, a junior minister not well known to most voters, has attracted slightly more support from Conservative lawmakers than Michael Gove, the justice secretary and leading "Leave" campaigner, British media reported. Bookmaker William Hill said she was now second-favourite to suc
