Motorist Dies After Car Plunges Into River

A motorist has died after his car plunged from a motorway into a river, according to police. Emergency services were called to the scene near Doncaster at around 6.30am on Monday. The man's body was recovered when the vehicle was removed from the River Don which crosses underneath the A1M, said South Yorkshire Police.
