More snow and ice warnings as wintry conditions grip UK

Britain is bracing itself for more wintry conditions after snow and ice warnings were issued for many parts of the country.The Met Office issued a second yellow “be prepared” warning for ice in the east Midlands, London and south-east England, Wales, and the west Midlands.“A few showers of rain, sleet and hill snow will follow, possibly giving a slight covering of snow over higher ground,” the Met Office said.
