More Maternity Units Closing Amid Midwife Crisis

Maternity units could be forced to turn away mothers because of budget cuts and staff shortages, the Royal College of Midwives has said. It comes as midwives are also struggling to cope with a rising birth rate and increasingly complex births, the union said.
