Medical chief's solution for NHS 'safety problems'

The way the National Health Service is organised is putting patients' lives at risk, according to the national medical director of NHS England.Professor Sir Bruce Keogh said a central system is needed to oversee patient safety across the NHS.Sir Bruce said there needs to be a way of ensuring those directives were taken up across the industry.
