May Wins First Tory Vote As Fox And Crabb Out

Theresa May has won an emphatic victory in the first round of voting for the Tory leadership, as Stephen Crabb and Liam Fox left the contest. Mrs May secured more than half the votes - 165  from 329 MPs - with Andrea Leadsom coming second with 66. Mr Fox was eliminated after receiving the least number of votes - 16 - while Stephen Crabb bowed out later after getting 34 votes.
