Theresa May has emphatically won the first round of voting in the Tory leadership battle, with low-scoring Liam Fox eliminated. Mrs May secured more than half the votes from 329 MPs, with Andrea Leadsom coming second with 66. Michael Gove came third with 48 votes, Stephen Crabb secured 34 and Liam Fox received 16.
