May says she will hold free vote on allowing foxhunting if elected
Theresa May has said she will hold a free vote on overturning the foxhunting ban in England and Wales if she is returned as prime minister at the general election.Speaking in Yorkshire, May said she was personally in favour of foxhunting and would want to keep the Conservative party’s commitment to letting parliament have another say on the issue.“As it happens, personally I have always been in favour of foxhunting and we maintain our commitment,” May said.
