Man Killed In Suspected Double Shooting

A man has died and a woman is in hospital after a suspected double shooting at the height of London's rush hour. Paramedics were called to Lordship Lane in Wood Green, north London, at around 5.45pm on Friday. Police said the man died at the scene at around 7pm, while the woman was taken to an east London hospital, where she was in a critical but stable condition.
