Man In Court Over Attempted Murder Of Cop

A man has appeared in court charged with the attempted murder of a police officer who was shot during an undercover operation. Tyrone Henry, of Phoenix Close, in Hackney, east London, is also accused of possession of a firearm with intent to endanger life and being a prohibited person in possession of a firearm. The 31-year-old spoke only to confirm his name, address and date of birth during the brief hearing at Thames Magistrates' Court in Bow, east London.
