Man Charged After Eddie Izzard's Beret Snatched At Pro-EU March

A man has been charged with the theft of comedian Eddie Izzard's bright pink beret during a pro-Europe march attended by thousands of people in London. The pair clashed near Downing Street and then Izzard, wearing high heels, chased the man before he was caught by police who pinned him to the ground. The beret was originally returned to Mr Izzard by officers, but was then taken away as evidence.
