Man Arrested After Looters Target Flooded Homes

A man has been arrested on suspicion of theft after residents raised concerns about looting in flood-hit homes. Police had responded to reports in the Mytholmroyd area of West Yorkshire about a man acting suspiciously near wrecked properties on Wednesday. West Yorkshire Police said a "handful" of people in white vans have been seen acting suspiciously in Calderdale, with reports of thieves stealing electrical goods from outside homes.
