Man, 22, fights for life after being stabbed in attempted carjacking in Birmingham

A 22-year-old man is fighting for his life after being stabbed in the stomach and chest in an attempted carjacking in Birmingham, police say.The victim was found collapsed by a friend in an alleyway off Heeley Road, Selly Oak, on Sunday.West Midlands Inspector Jonathan Kiteley described the incident as "shocking".
