Louis Walsh leaves X Factor after 13 years amid shake-up on show

Louis Walsh will not be returning to the X Factor as a judge to allow the talent show to usher in a "new era".Walsh said: "I've had a fantastic 13 years on The X Factor but the show needs a change and I'm ready to leave.Sharon Osborne will have a smaller role in the show when it returns for its 15th series later this year.
