Lottery suspends apps after winning tickets may have been binned

The National Lottery has suspended its apps after a glitch meant players may have been mistakenly told to bin winning tickets. People who used the apps to check their results are being advised to re-check them on the National Lottery website. A message on the website said: "We're sorry - the National Lottery apps are currently unavailable.
