Lord Hanningfield Charged With Expenses Fraud

Tory peer Lord Hanningfield is "very disappointed" after he was charged with expenses fraud, his lawyer has said. The Crown Prosecution Service said the former Essex County Council leader has been charged in connection with daily allowance claims submitted at the House of Lords in 2013. His lawyer Daniel Goddin said: "We will be fighting this charge all the way.
