London Marathon hero Matthew Rees helps struggling runner over line

A London Marathon runner has been praised for helping to guide home a fellow athlete who was struggling in the final stages of the race.Matthew Rees put his arm around David Wyeth whose "legs just crumbled" at the last bend - about 200 metres from the finish line.Helped by a marshal, Mr Rees then walked Mr Wyeth up The Mall as they were applauded to the end of 26.2-mile course by the crowd that included Princes William and Harry.
