London Cycle Superhighway To Open Next Month

A new east-to-west cycle superhighway across London will open next month, Boris Johnson has said. The London Mayor said the route will be the longest substantially segregated bike route in a European city. When it opens on 30 April cyclists will be able to travel from Westminster to Blackfriars, the City, Tower Hill, Canary Wharf and Barking - just under 12 miles - on either tracks separated from vehicles or on low-traffic streets.
