Labour Big-Hitters Defy Corbyn On IS Airstrikes
Senior Labour figures have defied party leader Jeremy Corbyn and spoken in favour of airstrikes against terror targets in Syria. Mr Corbyn had urged his MPs at the start of the debate to oppose extending military action and warned against an "ill thought-out rush to war". But despite his appeal to members, three former Labour cabinet ministers - Alan Johnson, Dame Margaret Beckett and Yvette Cooper - were among those to support raids.
