Knife Plot Accused 'Filmed Stamping On Poppy'

Two Islamic State supporters accused of plotting to carry out a Lee Rigby-style murder ahead of Remembrance Sunday were filmed sniggering and stamping on a poppy, a court has heard. Cousins Nadir Syed, 22, and Yousaf Syed, 20 - along with Haseeb Hamayoon - are accused of plotting to carry out a terror attack using a large knife. In a video clip shown to jurors at London's Woolwich Crown Court, the Syed cousins can be seen kicking the wartime remembrance symbol, it is alleged.
