Junior Doctors To Vote On Industrial Action
Junior doctors in England are to vote on whether to take industrial action over a new contract that would see their pay cut and their hours drastically changed. The British Medical Association (BMA) says the ballot is being held over what they called "unsafe and unfair" reforms. Dr Johann Malawana, the new leader of the BMA junior doctors committee, said the government proposal rides "roughshod" over the best interests of doctors.
