Junior Doctors To Stage Five Days Of Strikes Over Training Contract

Junior doctors are to stage further industrial action in the row over the contract for training medics. The proposed strike action will see medics walking out for five days with full withdrawal of labour between the hours of 8am and 5pm between September 12 and September 16, with further dates to be confirmed. The action was approved by the British Medical Association (BMA) Council this afternoon following a meeting with the junior doctors committee (JDC).
