John O'Neill has 24-hour sexual relationship notice order lifted

A York man is no longer required to tell police he has begun a relationship that could lead to sex within 24 hours of it starting. The order was imposed on Mr O'Neill, 45, after he was cleared of rape following a retrial last year. Last month, Mr O'Neill tried to get the order lifted at York Magistrates' Court.
