John McDonnell 'could weep' over Labour anti-Semitism row
Shadow Chancellor John McDonnell has said he "could weep" over allegations of anti-Semitism within the Labour Party and has called on Ken Livingstone to apologise.In what will be seen as the strongest intervention from those around the leadership, Mr McDonnell said on Sophy Ridge on Sunday that he was "quite angry" about Mr Livingstone's repeated assertions that Hitler supported Zionism.
