Jimmy Savile's penthouse flat in Leeds demolished

The penthouse flat where disgraced broadcaster Jimmy Savile lived for more than 30 years has been demolished. It is thought he may have abused at least one of his many victims at the apartment in the six-storey Lakeview Court but an inquiry could not prove the allegation. The former BBC radio and TV presenter bought the Roundhay Park property in the 1970s at the height of his fame and he lived there until he died aged 84 in 2011.
