Illegal Immigrant Suspects Found Inside Tanker

A group of illegal immigrants have been arrested after they were found inside a tanker in south London. Police said "approximately 14" people were detained on suspicion of immigration offences after the vehicle was stopped by police in Purley Way, Croydon, at around 12.30pm on Tuesday. The driver of the vehicle was also arrested on suspicion of facilitating illegal entry into the UK and was taken in for questioning.
