Hunt Tells Junior Docs: Keep A&E Out Of Strike

The Health Secretary has urged junior doctors not to withdraw emergency cover as hospitals in England prepare for the first all-out strike in NHS history. Speaking in the Commons, Jeremy Hunt said that not providing such cover "creates particular risk for A&Es, maternity and intensive care units" and the NHS was "busting a gut" to keep patients safe.
