Hundreds Of Pupils 'Hidden' In Illegal Schools

Schools inspectors have expressed "extreme concern" about the number of children being taught in illegal schools. One hundred suspected unregistered schools have been identified by inspectors since a team was set up in January to look into the problem. In April, 350 children were found at seven suspected schools given warning notices by inspectors in Birmingham, London, Luton, Stoke-on-Trent, and Wolverhampton.
