HSBC Service 'Steadily Returning' After Glitch

HSBC has said "more and more customers" are managing to log into their internet banking accounts following two days of IT faults. Both personal and business customers had experienced problems accessing the bank's website, and using its mobile app, following a "complex technical issue". The chairman of the Treasury Committee, Andrew Tyrie, has said he plans to demand an explanation from HSBC and banking regulators on what went wrong.
