Horse Dies In 'Callous' Arson Attack

A horse has died in what police have described as a "callous" arson attack on a stable block near Stockport. Ms Pardon said it was "pure chance" that five other horses were in the field that night - not in the stable. Greater Manchester Police said officers and fire crews were called to the blaze on Winnington Road, Marple shortly before 2am on Tuesday.
