Hillsborough Inquests Juror Is Discharged

A female juror in the Hillsborough inquests has been discharged on medical grounds - reducing the jury to nine members. Coroner Sir John Goldring took the decision to formally relieve her of further duties after receiving information about her health, a day after the jury retired to consider its verdicts. She is the second juror to be discharged from the inquests on medical grounds since the case began in March 2014 - as a man was also allowed to step down in February 2015.
