High Tide Reaches Stranded Norfolk Whale

The whale stranded at Hunstanton beach is being engulfed by the tide as rescuers say there is a slim chance the 14m mammal could be refloated. Sealife experts had been trying to help the sperm whale on the Norfolk coast by splashing it with buckets of water to ease its discomfort. Hunstanton Sea Life Centre manager Nigel Croasdale told Sky News he was "not expecting a successful outcome" but said there was an outside chance of saving the whale.
