Heavy Rain Puts Flood Hit Communities On Alert

Flood warnings are in place across the UK with eastern parts of Scotland expected to be worst hit by torrential rain in the coming days. On Saturday evening, there were more than 30 flood warnings in place across the UK and more than 80 alerts. In Aberdeenshire, 500 giant sandbags have been put in place to try and prevent a repeat of the recent flooding which inundated homes in Ballater.
