Heathrow begins spending on building third runway

Investment in the expansion of Heathrow airport has already started - just days after the Government backed plans for a third runway. Heathrow chief executive John Holland-Kaye said the process of pumping hundreds of millions of pounds into expanding the airport started over the weekend. "Over the coming years, I look forward to working with our new partners to create thousands of decent jobs across the UK as together we deliver Britain's new runway," he added.
