Guaranteed UK Status For EU Nationals 'Unwise'

A government minister has said it would be unwise to provide EU nationals with guaranteed UK status without a deal for UK citizens. Responding to an urgent question in the House of Commons on Monday, Immigration Minister James Brokenshire said guaranteeing the status of EU nationals already living in the UK could prompt EU immigration to the UK.
