Great Scottish Run results quashed because course was 150 metres short
The results of last year's Great Scottish Run have been quashed because the course fell nearly 150 metres short of the official half-marathon distance. "Human error" has been blamed for the 149.7 metre shortfall, which was discovered after concerned organisers re-measured the intended 13.1-mile route through Glasgow. Additionally, 50 metres of the shortfall has been put down to the route being incorrectly followed in Bellahouston Park.
