Four arrested after suspected stolen car crashes into Leicester canal

Four people have been arrested after a suspected stolen car plunged into a canal in Leicester.The vehicle smashed through fencing and crashed into the Grand Union Canal on Friday night after it allegedly failed to stop for police.Leicestershire police said: "Officers attempted to stop a car in Vaughan Way, Leicester, around 9.15pm yesterday following concerns about the manner in which the vehicle was being driven.
