Five dead and 51 hurt after Croydon tram crash

Five people are confirmed to have died after a tram came off rails in south London. The driver of the tram was arrested after emergency services had to free several who were trapped and more than 50 were taken to hospital. The two-car vehicle tipped over as it went into a tunnel near the Sandilands tram stop, east Croydon.
