Fake Bomb Sees Man United Game Abandoned

A fake bomb led to Manchester United's final league game of the season being abandoned. Reports of a "suspect package" at Old Trafford prompted the evacuation of two stands shortly before the 3pm match against Bournemouth. Army bomb disposal units and sniffer dog teams were deployed - but after conducting a controlled explosion police revealed the device had been "incredibly lifelike" but not "viable".
