Ex-IRA Man Gunned Down In 'Ruthless' Killing

A former republican prisoner shot dead in a "ruthless and premeditated" killing in Northern Ireland may have been the victim of a suspected bloody feud between ex-IRA members. Father-of-nine Kevin McGuigan, 53, was shot repeatedly in the head and chest in front of his wife by two masked men outside the couple's home in the republican Short Strand area of Belfast. Mr McGuigan had fallen out with former colleagues in the IRA a number of years ago, it was believed.
