Everton fan jailed for attacking Lyon players while holding his toddler son

An Everton fan has been jailed after attacking opposition players while holding his dummy-sucking child.Michael Fitzpatrick, 30, held his three-year-old son in one arm while using the other to grapple from out of the crowd at the Europa League tie between Everton and Lyon at last year.Fitzpatrick, of Prescot, Merseyside, was also given a six-year football banning order due to the serious aggravating factor of the assault taking place while holding a child.
