EU's Tusk calls for UK Brexit talks to start as soon as possible
European Council President Donald Tusk said on Thursday it was in everyone's interests for Britain to start its negotiations over leaving the European Union as soon as possible. Tusk was in London for his first bilateral meeting with British Prime Minister Theresa May. She has said Britain will not trigger Article 50, kicking off formal EU divorce talks, this year in order to allow the government time to prepare. In everybody's best interest to start ASAP," Tusk said on Twitter.
