Eurostar Strike Suspended For More Talks

Strike action by Eurostar staff is to be suspended from midnight to allow further talks, the RMT union has said. The union's members had started their four-day industrial action earlier today in a dispute over shift patterns and work-life balance. The union said the dispute centres around Eurostar's failure to honour an agreement from 2008 which ensured a good work/life balance for train managers, specifically regarding unsocial hours and duty rosters.
