EU Immigration To UK 'Not An Exact Science'
The UK's top statistician has admitted that "we don't know exactly" how many European Union citizens are living in the country. National Statistician John Pullinger has promised "extra real information" on EU immigration in May, as the issue shapes up to be a major battleground in the run-up to the referendum in June. He will draw upon figures from the Department of Work and Pensions (DWP), HM Revenue and Customs, the Home Office and the international passenger survey.
