Egypt Plane Crash: What We Know So Far
As Downing Street says the plane "may well have been brought down by an explosive device", here's the key information on the Russian jet that crashed in the Sinai Peninsula. The Airbus A321, operated by a small Russian airline, took off from the holiday resort of Sharm el Sheikh at 5.58am local time on 31 October. At 6.20am it vanished from radar screens while flying at an altitude of 31,000ft over the Sinai Peninsula and went into a "rapid descent".
